BTW, I think you're the one with a ton of loyal optimism. You said the cards could go 5-9. Unless they're playing two more games than every other team in the nation, that record would be impossible. Allow me to explain further, so that all of you UofL graduates can understand. 5+9=14. There are only 12 games on UofL's schedule, therefore a 5-9 record won't work.

For U of L I can see wins over Indiana State, Southern Miss, Arkansas St, and (hopefully) Syracuse. With a even worse Big East than last year, maybe 5-9. They could just as easily go 3-9.

For UK, I see wins over Miami (OH), U of L, Louisianna-Monroe, Eastern KY. I see definite losses to Florida, Alabama, Miss. St, South Carolina (Spurrier gets them every year)

Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia are make or break games.

UK has lost some serious talent. I see 6 wins at the most, maybe seven with an upset.

OK, let's dual! I'll start with an easy one for you. What's 7-2? Here's a hint....it's the number of championships that separate the best program in the commonwealth of Kentucky, and the wanna-be down the road.

I think you're right on point 9698...Honest, unbiased, and more than likely CORRECT!!!

UK will end up at 7-5 this season. The reason is that UK is not equal (totally) on both sides of the ball and if Hartline hasn't made any changes during the offseason as far as throwing the ball down field and becoming more mobile then it could cost UK a game or two but let's hope not.

UL, hmmmmmmmm, I don't know what they have really except that the talent they lost due to graduation and a new quarterback I would hope that Krags has made major changes in his play
calling. It will be a growing time for UL and more growing pains will come to the fore front. I think
that UL's defense will be better than their offense, much like UK's last year. My prediction 3-9, possibly
4-8 with an upset of someone in their conference.
