It's like this, you shut down DP, and you shut down the Cards. It's like Pitt cut the brain out of the Cards and threw it across the room, the body just cant get it done without the brain.

I'm concerned..........very concerned.

This Card fan is not upset at all. They lost the last two on shooting percentage. Thats it, thats all. Not effort. The effort is there. Defensive pressure all over the place. We lost in OT folks to two very good basketball teams. The shooting will come back as surely as the sun rises in the east. Is there honestly any team in the country that you can say "yeah, we can't beat those guys". No. Can we lose in the first or second round? Sure. Thats true for a lot of other teams as well. Lastly, we haven't played a decent game in MSG since the 60's. We were a 3 seed when the week began. We will still be on Sunday. Just wish they'd make us a 16 seed and pair us with Memphis so we could shut those tiny tigers UP! GO CARDS!

You sound like pitino!Are there any teams you all cant beat?How about UNC,UCLA,GTOWN,DUKE,TENN,Memphis,Mich.ST. Its not gonna be easy they have lost all their momentum,maybe HE can pull them back together,but now if you lose one more its bye bye birdies.I think thell get a #4 seed.

Joe Linardi at ESPN still has them at a 3. No way they fall farther than that. Still no one on your list is problematic. As any long time Card fan can tell you its not those type teams that we stub our toes on in a tournament. Thank you but if we can stay out of the way of Butler/Xavier/Drake/South Alabama/Kent State then I will be happy camper. And, no this is one Cardinal fan that will pass on a rematch with the kitties. They will be one of the more dangerous teams in the Tournament at a 9 or 8 seed.

keep talking Chris L, you are starting to slowly restore some of my lost confidence in our team! It sucks that they lost that one last night, but alas, the season is not over........yet.

The key for me is that we've never been "out" of a game all year. We've lost but its been a struggle for other teams to beat us. I will be very interested in the game tonight to see what sort of effort Pitt gives. My guess is that they will be flat. I've seen them a few times this year and that is the best they have played.

One thing that has to be noticed is the effort that DC has given the last while. We are never going to be a classic great shooting team but our effort is better than average game in and out. If you are going to beat our Cards you better be on your A game.

I too still believe that it is not over. Just as said above, we lost in OT and had a horrible shooting night. Like i said before, the team is trying their hardest and are giving a good season. The pressure these kids go through is unreal. When you have fans that dog them all the time is sad. Just support them and hope for the best. They are a special group of young guys that are doing all they can to win. Look at the ND, Marquette game. I would have never thought they would have lost to them. Go Cards!

Oh I dont think that I was dogging them I really thought they were in a small group of teams that had risen above the rest(unc,kansas,gtown,memphis,tenn.,wis.ucla)those kids are under the same pressure and they have been finding ways to win?I think after awhile you start wondering if Pitino really has his heart in the game,Imean I would of bet the cards would have had their third crown by now?

Whats amazing is, Pitt won the BE tourney..Did you guys, who are saying UofL sucked because they lost to Pitt see that coming? Pitt (like UK) had alot of injury problems early that is why they was having problems winning. Just like most wondered, "OMG UofL is going to crash and flame because they lost to a horrible Pitt team". Now what do you say about UofL? Are they still bad, or was Pitt good? And UofL got a 3 seed, i seen that coming..Believe UofL fans, Believe....

Alot of conferences had the same results,but the ones that won their con. are the ones to watch(ucla,unc,wis.kansas) I dont think pitt. is going to win it all do you?I just thought it to be ironic that the cards lost to pitt. three years in a row.I dont think that pitt. or gtown were horrible but you dont want to go into march madness coming off back to back losses no matter who gave them to you.
