And now for an interview with a UL fan

Interviewer: Can you name one player on any athletic team at UL that doesn't play basketball, football, or baseball?

UL fan: No, but we have a very well rounded athletic program, and we all care about the players on every team.

Interviewer: So, you don't actually follow any of the non revenue sports?

UL fan: Of course not, I just cling to the women's softball teams success, because we have sucked for a quarter century in the only two sports that anyone cares about.

Interviewer: What do you think of the men's basketball coach and head football coach?

UL fan: I love our basketball coach, because he came from UK. We wanna be like UK so bad, that no matter what Pitino does, we're gonna back him up. Even though he's almost 60 years old, caught up in a federal extortion case, and has more NIT's than final fours at our school, we still love him. Now that football coach is another story! I hate him! He actually thinks we should have some self respect, and recruit good kids. What a moron! I want our state prison team back, if it means we can compete in the Big East again. Coach K has gotta go!

Interviewer: Is it hard rooting for a school with only 2 men's basketball national championships?

UL fan: Hell yeah it is, especially when big brother has 7! I hate always living in their shadow. They are the elite program in the state, and we've been trying to duplicate their success now for years. We even hired their former head coach, and the majority of our assistants are former big brother players. Hell, we even took their priest! What pisses me off, is that it still hasn't worked. We have more NIT's than final fours since these guys showed up, and big brother is an early favorite to win their 8th title this season.

No matter where U of L ends up it will be far ahead of UK. I can't believe a UK fan even has the gall to say something about U of L losing 1 game. Where is UK at all.

What sports can you talk about right now?
Basketball-,oh, you secured the #1 recruit in the country. You are a sure bet for the final four this upcoming season! lmao!You have a fabolous can't lose team next year! But have they dribbled or drove to the basket? Coach Cal. What did he do in memphis 2007-2008? But we have those wonderful CALipari NATION T SHIRTS. wE DON'T LIKE bILLY g, we fired him. He sued you, and then what you countersued.

Actually Louisville's soccer team is better then UK's and actually made the post season tournament last season. Not to mention, the great SEC conference, does it have soccer or does UK play in the MAC or C-USA and still can't win it.

You took the time to write a post about UK, and think all UK fans care about is uL. I try not to even post on UL because they are not at UK level.

Here we go I thought we solved this, but here we go with the West End stereotype again.Since when did a lot of white people move into the Shawnee area?I know they rebuilt some neighborhoods down there but was it enough to change the "completion" of the west end?When I see photos I see white people at the games cheering and throwing up the L sign not alot of black people from the west side of town.Oh wait unless all those white cardinal fans where photo shopped in.

This is a post started by a UL fan about UK how does this prove your point. I think all the hate national proves that people are uncomfortable with UK being at the top again. I am not trying to slam UL I just think UK is getting alot of attention right now.

At the top??/of what? recruiting? do they give national championships for recruiting? What has every U of K fan talked about on here? U of L.....You got a lot of attention going to the NIT...and losing to Gardner Webb......and VMI.
