Grim,
I'm right there with you with Ohio State. If the Luckeyes went 7-5, the BCS would still find a way to sneak 'em in.

Florida is best team in land...no doubt and Urban Meyer will out coach Bob Stoops to yet another national championship.

I'm still going with the Utes, 'Bama almost lost to UK, remember and beat a really bad Auburn team.

In terms of the Cards, it is what it is. I'd like to see them in a bowl as much as anyone, but even if they beat Rutgers I'm not sure that will be enough.

I agree as well about Ohio State! That's ridiculous they're even getting a sniff of a BCS bowl game they do not deserve it PERIOD!

Now with what I'm about to say next please do not misunderstand this as I would say this about ANY conference and any team that happens to go 6-6 and become "bowl eligible"

Personally I don't think any conference should be "guaranteed" a specific number of bowl games especially when you have to choose a 6-6 team. Lets all be honest, does UK really "deserve" to go to a bowl? In my opinion, no... (I'd say the same thing about UL if they happen to make it to 6-6) While I understand its about the money and these bowls will not go away but to put a team in a bowl who could end up with an overall losing record I think is stupid... Hence in my opinion 6-6 teams are not deserving of bowl bids. Again, this opinion will not change even if UL happens to beat Rutgers and gets to 6-6 and technically becomes "bowl eligible"

Also in my opinion "IF" UK does end up playing UNC I don't see UK winning...

As far as the BCS is concerned this year has don't nothing but show us more of the same of how the BCS is a joke and that system does NOT work... Yeah you may end up with the #1 vs. #2 "BCS Ranked" teams for that game but are they really #1 and #2? Personally I don't think so...

This year, just like all the rest...scream for a playoff. Settle it on the field. If Missouri wins the Big 12 championship should that keep both Texas and Oklahoma out of the BCS? Could happen.

I'd much rather see Boise or Texas Tech be rewarded than the Buckeyes in all honesty. It would be good for the game and good for the schools. Bucky came out and laid an egg in two straight NC games. Big Ten has never been a speed conference but the lack of offensive minds in the conference is telling. Until the Big Ten as a Conference starts putting up big wins against other conferences in bowl games they should be limited to the one slot just as the ACC and Big East are.

I sat through the COMPLETE game in Knoxville. It was a TOTALLY non-inspiring game by the Cats. The play calling was horrible and VERY predictable. Poor effort. I made it to every game this year and this was probably our worst effort of the year. But they have a decent record and deserve a bowl. Does Cincy really deserve the Orange? Probably not. But under BCS guidelines, the east gets an automatic bid, regardless of conference strength. However, they certainly deserve to go to a bowl. I'm just not sure that it should be a BCS sanctioned bowl. Bottom line, bowl games have become like "Awards" shows on T.V. There seems to be some kind of award program every week on some channel. Kind of dillutes the importance of the "awards". Good luck cards. GO CATS!!!

As opposed to going 6-6 and limping into nashville yet again? ......I'd pass. Embarrassing. Step up and get the check. Thats the only thing good about it. The Cards have done it in the past and it doesn't make for either excitement or good football
