While I never cherish a loss, this may have been a positive momentum swing for the Cats. They recovered from several plus-ten deficits, to pretty much control their own destiny in the waning seconds. I could have lived without the pair of stupid turnovers near the end, and wasn't too pleased about leaving Sosa wide open for the crippling final shot... yet didn't walk away from this contest terribly frustrated. Moreover, I'm both pleased and impressed with the comeback effort in the final minute that would eventually tie the game.
If Billy's squad cuts down on the NEEDLESS turnovers, the future looks bright. And, please Louisville fans... celebrate your win with as much ferocity as you wish. You've earned it. The right to gloat, of course, is one of the rewards one reaps when achieving victory. But don't try to say that your team triumphed in spite of playing a bad game. The Cards played hard, and they're woes were not self-induced. Good luck in the Big East... you're going to need it. The Red and Black have a mess of issues that need to be address, before a successful conference campaign can be mounted. Those previous two sentiments, by the way, come not from me, but rather countless nervous chums who happen to be UofL faithful.
Also, does anyone on here know why Billy Clyde got T'd-up? The announcers didn't seem to have a clue either, and I was just curious.
