We have the record attendance at the Hall and the highest score by a single player hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm shouldn't we rename the place "Rupp South"?

Billy beats Ricky before he's our coach, Tubby beats him three in a row as our coach and one for good measure to make it four in a row when he's not our coach...un freakin believable!!!!

Congrats on your win today Billy Bob... But I'm going to respond here like I did in the other discussion started in reference to seemingly how happy UK fans are now with Tubby...

The way the majority of UK fans were calling for his head and shoving him as hard and fast as they could out the door how on earth can you come on here and more or less sing his praises for beating UL??? in my opinion the word hypocrisy comes to mind...

I can do nothing but admit that UL lost fair and square today and did not deserve to win but it is absolutely laughable for any UK fan to come on this website and attribute it all to Coach Smith and not only that act as if nothing ever happened and he was one of UK's best coaches ever and you're back on a first name basis with him calling him "Tubby"...

Again congrats on the win today against App State... And I have to say too bad you guys let Tubby get away b/c if he's still "got what it takes" (as the other discussion describes) to beat UL isn't that half the battle for UK basketball? To make sure they beat UL?

I think the Cards were a bit travel weary .....Rick will get them on track .I think they showed some savy to cut the lead to 4 >>> Their shots weren't falling ,it happens,you can't blame the coach for a poor shooting % and not hitting their free shots ,.The Cards will be fine ,they will be in the NCAA in March ,mark it down.

CAts played a great defensive game against a weak opponet .
Meeks has the best game of his career ,keep it up JOdie ...GO CATS

I have known Tubby for 25 years and did not want him to leave ..I understand why he did..He did it for UK and his family..I am glad to see him happy at Minnesota..he will retire from there..He is a great Coach and a better person.unlike SpinTino

He did it because of the ridiculous & unrealistic uk fans. they have been playing b-ball for 112 years and won 7 titles and think they should win every year. uk did not fire Tubby...he quit on this so called elite program! Poor billy bob....pitino won him a title, a runner up and handied Tubby a tittle and now because he coaches for the good side he bashes him. Another example of ignorant uk fans.

Yeah what a great day against Appalaichan State! Boy they're real National Championship contenders! Meeks is a selfish ball player who shoots too much! I can score 46 too if I shoot everytime I touch the ball! Jodie doesn't make his teammates better, he even acknowledged after the game yesterday with Clyde that he didn't play any defense.He never does. All he does is shoot and if he's on he's on but if he's off he doesn't do anything else for the team. Yeah he got 18 against the Ville when he was a freshman, that's great but I can assure you the Ville will be pressing the Cat's as soon as they get off the bus January 4th! That probably wasn't a good thing that Louisville lost yesterday and Jodie scored all those points, Louisville is going to be pissed off. Somebody besides Meeks and Patterson better score. As for the Ville they will be fine. It's December people! All teams have their flaws, unfortunately the Ville's have been exposed. The good thing is they have time to get it right.
