hmmmm let see 3 football players out of 60 plus, versus 5 basketball players out of 13 you do the math, as far as I can tell that would be 40 percent of the basketball team versus than 1.8 percent of the the football team, even you can see how ridiculous your logic is. GEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZ give me a break ROFLMMFAO

What are you talking about 3 players in football can make a difference, take Tebow away from Florida, take Cobb away from UK, take Tom Brady away from the patriots, or Farve from the Vikings and tell me if one or three players don't make a difference.

We haven't beat Tennesse in football since the early eighties. With the exception of a few close games, they've completely owned us, historically. So, we'll take a victory over the Vols, cheap, free, or otherwise.

App St. didn't care that they were playing a down Michigan team. Instead they've celebrated the upset as the biggest triumph in school history. In the same respect, Gardener Webb didn't care that they were playing a Gillispie headcase. Years from now, their fans(Do they have fans?) will forget that a declining Kentucky squad was battling inner-turmoil at the time, and celebrate that win as one of the most material in their program's history.

UK beat FSU to win their first bowl game since 84'. It didn't matter that a bunch of Bowden's players were ruled ineligible. It's a win over an historic college football power who was coached by a legend. Moreover, though, it was a Kentucky bowl win, which before that, didn't happen very often.

Some situations have more gravity than others. Celebrate the Arkansas victory if you please, Eric. But keep in mind that Arkansas has yet to become a power under Pelphry and a majority of their talent was depleted. It wasn't really a rivalry game for Louisville either. So, touting that blowout as a major achievement essentially works to insult the talent of the current Cardinal roster. For Kentucky football, though, the Tennessee game is a personal issue of demon exorcise.

This is the farthest stretch I've ever seen on here. That is saying a lot. Maybe this guy should watch UK battle Ga without Randall Cobb.
Another football note. UL lost today, making it virtually impossible to keep Kragthorpe. I was pulling for the dirty birds.
On to basketball. Why is Pitino playing Sosa against ETSU? He is one of the slowest players I've ever watched, for his size. UK's entire front line are quicker than Sosa. He is just plain slooow.

Do you know what a skill position is, that would be a quarterback or a running back or even a wide receiver, the same as a point guard or a center in basketball.My point was that Tennessee is Sh*t this year and those kids that got kicked off the team would have played in some capacity how much I don't know I am not a Volunteer fan.My point was if UK beats Tenn just like if they had of beat Florida with some of the players sick or out would UK not have viewed the victory as flawed or would they just write it up as we beat them so what.Because on here all last week the UK fans have been bashing UL victory over Arkansas because they were short handed, because UL wound not have beat them by 30 if they had everybody.I said why is it fine for UK to call a 2 point victory a win and UL victory should have had an asterisk next to it?Once again when a UK fan disagree with a person on here the UL fan has to be called retarded or stupid or worse you guys are childish as hell, if you disagree then disagree because I am getting tired of holding my tongue.I made a vow to be civil to every one on here so I expect the same or don't' comment on my sh*t.

Arkansa was a good win for UL my point was that Coach P should have benched smith and jennings because their action going unpunished is telling the other players that there will be no corrective action taken for bringing this kind of national exposure to the school. My point was he should have followed Coach Pelphrey's example
