uofl fan are mad because on Saturday we will get to watch some future Canes in the high school All-America game. uofl future is 5-7,4-8 or 2-10. I'm loving it.

When did the Big East become a football conference anyway?
When's the last time a Big East team won the National title?
Other than Pittsburgh being a solid team year in year out, its not a great football conference... PERIOD!

And Hink, you're just flapping your gums. Did McDonald's sponsor that statement? "I'm loving it." Horrible predictions from a Canes fan, or a horrible UK fan. Beat it kid.

Chumps... Did you not realize last night that the team from the ACC that beat Cincy is a Big East retread? Not to mention the Big East posted an overall winning record in this bowl season? and the ACC posted an overall losing record?

not only that if I recall correctly since the conference shake up with the ACC and Big East... 3 of the last 5 conference champions from the ACC have come from the Big East... There's only been one season that a former Big East team has not won at least one of the 2 ACC divisions (Coastal and Atlantic)!!! The only other two conference champs have been FSU and Wake Forest(or weak forest as you like to call them) ALL 5 have been better than Miami even "weak forest" hence the title of conference champ... Not to mention that last night was only the 2nd BCS bowl game win in ACC history... (FSU's national championship is the only other one...)

Even the WAC and Mountain West have better winning percentages in BCS bowl games! Even if or when Utah loses to Alabama they will still have a better winning percentage than the ACC...

If Miami can't even win in the ACC why on earth would you think they could compete in the Big East!?!? The reason Miami can't win in the ACC now is they're getting beat out by other former Big East teams or "Weak Forest"

Say what you will, Yes UL is not good in football right now but the only BCS conference that's been equally as bad or worse than the ACC is the Big 10... I mean really dude come up with something better than that!

The big east hasn't been a factor in the Nat. Championship sene the U left the league. Yet you are happy about beat some non-bcs teams in a bowl game. The big east bowl ties are equal to a high school homecoming game. Look-out uconn plays the great univ. buffalos.
uofl and the big east SUCKS!

HINK again you make me laugh! You described yourself as a Cincy fan in posts from the past and now you're dogging your own teams conference... What really needs to happen is you need to pick a screen name either Chumps or Hink and not try and act like you're two different people...

The fact is you can't dispute bowl records and the fact is the ACC is one of two worst BCS conference's there is with the Big 10 being the other... and the Big East has a winning record...

The 4 ACC bowl wins are Against Cincy, Nevada, Navy and Wisconsin... (2 non-BCS conference schools and 1 from the other worst conference in college football, the Big 10) Against the Big East is the ACC's best bowl win, and you had to use a former Big East to get that win in Va Tech...

Not To mention the Big East and the ACC had 3 bowl games against each other and the Big East won 2 and ACC 1 (and again the 1 win came from a former Big East team...)

And you're SORELY mistaken about the Big East being a part of the National Championship scene, BOTH UL and WVA have been in the mix in the last 3 years... UL in 2007 and WVA last year... Yes I know both teams lost late in conference play and did not get the invite to the NC game but BOTH were there if they had won and this is not just a UL, WVA, or Big East pipe dream this is a fact! This was widely reported on ESPN on numerous occasions in those seasons by people who are NOT part of any of the 3 establishments...

You couldn't blame Big East brass for being a little smug. Every major newspaper in the country is covering this game."

I'm pretty sure that covers exactly what I'm talking about... And for the record this was AFTER Miami left the Big East...

THERE GOES JAMES WITH HIS UNCONTROLLABLE URGE TO "IFA COULDA WOULDA"

IF it COULD snow in miami i WOULD be able to ski and surf from the same city!!!
IF cincinnati COULD have scored one more touchdown against you that year you WOULD not have even made it to the orange bowl!!!
IF the teams who were ranked ahead of ul and WVU COULD have kept from stumbling as ul and WVU did then there WOULD not have been even the slightest chance that we would have to listen to these ridiculous assertions!!!
IF ul COULD have won more games than they lost this year you WOULD not be here wasting your time trying to convince yourself more than others that the league they play in is tough, which everyone here knows is nothing more than LOSER DIVERSION!!!...ooooh!
