I'm sure some idiot ukay fan would say "but we got a 70k seat stadium" or "The seats in Cardinal stadium are faded" or "so what, our seats at commonwealth are made of cold hard metal". So there!

I hate to tell you this but what does that say for the BIG LEAST when even the cellar dwellers in the SEC go to a bowl game and the winner of the BIG LEAST is luck to get a bowl game lol, if it was an automatic bid most years they would not get invited to any bowl games lol

and IN CASE BOTH UK AND UL FANS HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS IS A BASKETBALL STATE, and football just gives us something to do until basketball starts lol

LMAO Larry are you in the 3rd grade? Either that or you don't proof read before you post. So now that ukay has sucked again in football, ukay is now a basketball school? LMAO I can't believe that you actually said that.

What happened to ukay football's awesome year and the possibility of going to the Peach Bowl? You'll be lucky to get back to the Liberty Bowl. The only reason you get to go to any bowl is because of the SEC.

We have been the Beast in the East in football or basketball 2 out of the last 4 years. When was the last time Kentucky won the SEC in either sport in this century? Or any sport for that matter. We won the Big East last year when many pundits called it possibly the best conference in the history of basketball. I already know what your response would have been to my post thus far, so I'm going to steal your thunder. Louisville was the #1 ranked team in the country heading into the NCAA tournament last year. You only see that they got thumped by MSU, who ended up playing for the national title. Kentucky got bounced out of the NIT by a team from the Big East with an under .500 record in the conference. Football? Yes, you have won 3 straight over Louisville. As Louisville fans, we understand that our football program has been broken for the last 3 years. It is going to be fixed, and soon. At least we have accomplished a few things over the last 20 years. We beat Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl. We have actually played in a BCS game and won it. We have also been ranked in the top 10. We will have a new basketball arena in 2010. We will have a newly renovated football stadium. Never mind the fact that we do not fill the one we have, we look to the future. And...we are the economic engine that drives Kentucky. I know you are proud of your attendance numbers in Commonwealth Stadium. In Louisville we will support a winning program. Kentucky fans are content to wallow in mediocrity. I believe Kentucky fans would show up at Commonwealth on game day to watch dog turds turn white.
Your posts are irrelevant, ignorant and contribute to the stereotypes Kentucky fans have to endure. I wish you would go away. If I were a Kentucky fan I would wish you to go away. I would be embarrassed.
I also would like to offer an apology to the Kentucky fans on this site that I may have offended, but this CAT is an asshole.

winning the big east is a great accomplishment, BUT winning the BIG LEAST in football is nothing to brag about. Oh BTW how many championships in football and Basketball has the big east won this CENTURY as you put it versus the SEC this century

We have accomplished a few things in the last twenty years also, Brad. We are miles ahead of UofL in basketball in the last twenty years. We have 4 final fours, 5 elite 8's, 2 national titles, and numerous conference championships. In football, we have done quite well over the last few years, with wins over Louisville (three times), Clemson, Florida St., LSU, Georgia, and Auburn. We currently hold the second longest streak in the nation over non conference opponents. If I'm not mistaken, we have won 18 in a row. We beat Alabama in football during the twenty year stretch that you're referring to. We beat them in 1997 by the score of 40-34. We haven't made a BCS bowl, and although you won't admit it, neither would have the cards if they played in the Big 12, Big 10, SEC, or PAC 10. We have great fans who support our team no matter what. Although I found the dog turd comment to be quite amusing, I also found it to be filled with jealousy. There aren't many fans in the country like wildcat fans. We come to Commonwealth every week with the thought that we can win, no matter how big the odds are against us. You and all other cardinal fans should be ashamed of the 21,000 in attendance last weekend. You're not hurting Kragthorpe. You're hurting the players who lay their ass on the line every week for their school and their fans. Kragthorpe will be gone whether you show up this season or not, so why not show some support for the players?
