I'll give you some of the best fans in the state of Kentucky but the "nation" in my opinion is stretching it about 49 too many states...

If they would have won at UT maybe they would be a powerhouse team!!

They sure are moving up, and its getting better every year.

Wasn't they better last year and the year before? I think their going backwards!!

NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE UK FANS TRAVELING WELL ALL THE COUNTRY KNOWS AND REMEMBERS ABOUT UK IS THE WAY THE TREATED TUBBY SMITH.THE DICKY V AND THE REST OF THE ANNOUNCERS WERE RIPPING ON UK SO BAD FOR THEIR LACK OF HEART, AND RECRUITING AND FOR THE WAY THEY TREATED TUBBY AT THE CAROLINA GAME ON ESPN THAT I ALL MOST FELT SORRY FOR THEM.WHAT BOWL SPONSERS WANTS TOO SEE A QUARTERBACK GET SACKED 15 TIMES AND LOOK OUT OF PLACE IN THE BACKFIELD?THAT GAME UT GAME IN THE FIRST HALF WAS THE WORST FOOTBALL I HAVE SEEN ALL SEASON, HOW MANY TIMES CAN A GUY GET SACKED AND YOU TALK ABOUT STUPID YOU LET YOUR STARTING QB RETURN KICKS.RICH BROOKS GETS THE BONE HEAD AWARD FOR THAT ONE I DON'T CARE IF HE RAN A 3.9 HE IS YOUR STARTING QB HE SHOULD NOT BE RETURNING KICKS.WHAT IF THEY WERE UNDEFEATED WOULD YOU STILL HAVE HIM BACK THERE?

In reference to point #3 I would say what you had at UK home games was very similar in context to what happened at every UL game this season... That being by the time the ball was kicked off the stadium was pretty full or close to capacity... I can speak from personal first hand experience on this b/c I was at every UL home game, and by the end of most games the fans had fizzled out and it would seem the game was not a sell-out or close to a sell-out...

At many of the UL home games the fans were there until the weather become unbearable or the game was out of reach... I also know for a fact there were some UK home games that before the game was over the camera would scan the stands and the seats we're empty and scattered just like at UL...

So my point is this... both programs had empty seats by the end of games, both programs had fans booing, both programs had fans throwing things on the field, both programs had fans leaving early in disgust b/c the team wasn't winning... etc...

As far as Cincy is concerned I don't disagree with them getting a BCS bowl bid just like I don't disagree with an ACC team getting a BCS bowl bid... Lets be honest about this though there's really only two conferences who have more than 1 legitimate BCS caliber team and that's the Big 12 and SEC... You could say the same thing about the Big 10 with Penn State being the only team that's deserving and USC being the only deserving team from the PAC 10. While I do think that USC and Penn State are better teams than Cincy and whoever comes from the ACC, the point is we've always had this issue... especially in the PAC10 when has anyone in that conference really honestly been better than USC? I know Oregan State beat them this year but Ole Miss also beat Florida this year...

In my opinion the BIG 12 is really the only conference who should have a beef this year b/c their conference title is essentially being decided by a poll that incorporates a computer and that poll has rendered the regular season basically means nothing... With a 3-way tie there's no real way to justify OU getting picked over Texas or Texas getting picked over TTU or TTU getting picked over OU. And with the SEC is there really any other teams aside from Alabama and Florida who "deserves" a BCS bowl bid? I don't think so...

I don't have so much of an issue with guaranteeing 1 BCS bowl bid per "BCS Conference" but I do have a problem with guaranteeing x-number of overall bowl bids to specific conferences... For example a 6-6 UK will take a bowl bid away from a more deserving team from a lesser non-BCS conference simply b/c there's no other "bowl eligible" teams in the SEC and you have to fulfill those guaranteed bowl spots...

I don't think you should be eligible for a bowl with a 6-6 record... I think there should be a mandatory 7 win minimum, so in the event you lose your bowl game you don't end up with an overall losing records as a so-called "bowl team"...
