I know that it is only May 19th but with the end of the spring signing period being tommorow and
with mostly all of the big names gone this is what it should be.
1. Kentucky Wildcats (2009 NIT/ 22-14)
With the great recruiting class that John Calipari has brought in and the other pieces such
as Patrick Patterson,Darius Miller, and I guarantee Jodie Meeks. This team without a doubt is the
deepest and most talented hands down. 1-10 Kentucky will be able to sit the first team and play the
bench and will not skip a beat.
2. Kansas Jayhawks (2009 NCAA Sweet 16)
Just like Kentucky they will be more talented than mostly everybody they play, with the signing of
the best shooting guard Xavier Henry, and with Cole Aldrich, and Darren Collison this team that came off a sweet 16 appearence in 2009. Expect bid things in Lawrence.
3. Michigan State Spartans (2009 National Runner-up)
Hard to believe that the national runner-up with basically everybody back would be number three
but with all the talent UK and KU have this team continues to get no respect, but with Tom Izzo
on the sidelines by the time March madness comes around there is no one better.
4. North Carolina Tarheels (2009 National Champions)
The Tarheels might be losing alot but with Ed Davis returning and a Top 5 recruiting class there
is no reason to cry for Coach Williams.
5. Villanova Wildcats (2009 Final Four)
Jay Wright has done some amazing things in the Big East, but the potential the Wildcats have in 2010 is extraordinary with Scottie Reynolds back and a Top 10 recruiting class this team should win
the Big East and be a contender for the Nat'l title.
Five other teams to watch out for
6. Purdue
7. Clemson
8. Washington
9. Butler
10. Duke
